M1Planner for Android

The whole planner in an app: it works offline, locks with your fingerprint and rings your reminders even without internet. Download it straight from here; it takes a minute.

What you get on the phone

Everything the web app does, plus what only a phone can do. Tap any of them to read more in the guide.

Installing

Install it in a minute

Android asks once before it installs an app from outside Google Play. Here is every step, whichever version your phone runs.

  1. Download the file

Tap “Download for Android”. If your browser warns that this type of file can harm your device, choose “Download anyway”: the app is signed by us, and you can check its checksum.

  2. Open it

Open the file from the notification when the download finishes, or from your Downloads.

  3. Allow this source

If Android asks, tap Settings, turn on “Allow from this source” for the app you downloaded with (your browser or Files), then go back. On Android 7, turn on “Unknown sources” under Settings › Security instead.

  4. Install

    Tap Install, then Open.

  5. Sign in

Sign in with the same e-mail or Google account you use on the web. Your data comes down to the phone, and from then on it works offline too.

Updates

The app tells you when a new version is out. Download it here and install it over the one you have: your data, settings and sign-in stay as they are.

Google Play: coming later

The app is coming to Google Play too. Until then, this page is the one official place to download it.

iPhone and iPad

There is no iOS app yet. M1Planner runs in Safari: tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”, and it opens like an app.

What it needs

  • Android 7.0 or later, on a phone or a tablet.
  • A connection to sign in and for the first sync; after that it works offline.
  • An M1Planner account. Signing up starts a free trial.
  • Push notifications arrive through Google Play services; reminders are scheduled on the phone itself.

Signed, and checkable

Every build is signed with M1Planner's own key, and Android installs an update only when it carries the same signature. Download the app only from this page; to be sure a file is the one we published, compare its SHA-256 with the one listed above.

To check a file on a computer:

Windowscertutil -hashfile m1planner.apk SHA256
macOS · Linuxshasum -a 256 m1planner.apk
